Bohemian Emperor is a Czech dark lager, a beer rooted in the history of Prague and our take on a quintessential beer style of Europe. Although dark in color this beer is balanced with a subtle sweetness and light body giving it what the Czech refer to as pitelnost, or drinkability, making it perfectly suited for the patio with friends as the sun goes down.

The Giant Emperor is the largest moth in Europe and served as a central point of inspiration for Vincent Van Gogh during his voluntary asylum stay in 1889. Van Gogh found solace and wonder in the nature around him musing, “If one loves nature one finds beauty everywhere.”
